- What are typical work days, work hours? Typical work days are Monday to Friday, 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Is travel required? Sales & estimating staff typically only travel up to an hour every other week to estimate projects. Most often, travel is within town or isn’t necessary due to being able to use blue prints.
- Is there the possibility for career advancement? Yes, we love to see our employees grow their careers, whether it’s with us, as their own business, or with suppliers or manufacturers. There is lots of room for growth.
- How often would I get paid? You’ll get paid every two weeks via direct deposit.
- Is this job season or year round? We are fortunate to have year round work.
- Will I be working with other people? People skills are a must, if you’re shy but willing to learn, we can help you learn how to interact with clients and coworkers alike.

Qualifications and Job Responsibilities
What are the job duties?
- Help clients choose new flooring for residential or commercial projects of any size.
- Drive your own or company vehicle to our locations in Valley City, Jamestown, or Fargo (mostly Valley City and Jamestown; Fargo mainly for picking up materials).
- Be respectful when working in customers’ homes.
- Document jobsite conditions with photos and videos.
- Read blueprints or create your own; we provide training on using Measure Square software for accurate estimates.
- Paid sales training to learn about different flooring types so you can assist clients confidently.
- Take before-and-after photos of jobs to prevent issues and support our social media.
- Request client reviews to help attract new customers and improve our online presence.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED minimum
- Must have a clean record (must be able to get onto federal installations such as military or GSA installations)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

What are the job duties?
- Assist clients in selecting new flooring. These clients can be both commercial or residential, from small flooring projects to projects tens of thousands of square feet in size.
- Ability to drive their own or a company vehicle to any of our three locations in Fargo, Valley City, or Jamestown. (Most often in Valley City or Jamestown, our Fargo office is small and has local staff already. Travel to Fargo is mostly to pick up materials)
- Be respectful and mindful when working in customer’s homes
- Document jobsite conditions such as taking photos and videos of existing job conditions.
- Read blueprints or draw your own. We can take existing blue prints and upload them to our software, Measure Square (see photo gallery) to do accurate estimates. We will train you on this with hands on practice and video tutorials.
- Paid Sales Training. We will pay you to learn about different types of floors because we want you to be able to help clients to the best of your ability.
- Take before and after photos of the jobsite. These help us avoid issues and they help our social media!
- Request client reviews. Reviews are extremely important to get new clients and stay on top of Google Search Results.
