Designing a Modern, Durable Space
We recently had the opportunity to help bring the new CLAAS FARMPOINT location in Jamestown, ND to life. When designing a modern commercial office, the goal is always twofold: create an inviting, high-end atmosphere for clients and staff, while ensuring the materials are tough enough to stand up to heavy daily foot traffic.
Choosing the Right Products
For a bustling commercial hub, we needed materials that felt contemporary but promised long-term durability. We landed on a striking combination of luxury vinyl and commercial-grade carpet that effortlessly checks both boxes.

Main Flooring: Daltile Asher Bend in the color Hearth

Stair Carpeting: Couristan Villa Suites in the color Pearl
Design Note: The Couristan carpet is engineered for indoor-outdoor use. This gives the steps a true commercial-grade durability without sacrificing a premium, styled look.
The Installation
For the design, we installed the main Asher Bend flooring in a timeless Herringbone pattern. It is an excellent layout choice for introducing a sense of movement, flow, and texture throughout an open commercial space.
To keep the design cohesive, we carried the Asher Bend flooring onto the risers of the stairs. When paired with the Couristan carpet on the treads, it creates a clean, intentional contrast that beautifully anchors the modern aesthetic of the office.
